Steve Bug compiles Bugnology 3

Steve Bug will release his third mix in the Bugnology series in September.

Bug, the label head of Poker Flat and its many sublabels, took to the laptop earlier this year, squeezing, editing, looping, and doing all manner of things to 21 of his favorite tracks. The result, we're told, "strikes a subtle balance between the dangerously cool and the deliciously funky." Fair enough.

Looking over the tracklisting, you'll see the that Bug moves his way from emotive Detroit synths (Santiago Salazar) to the dark depressive sound of Pigon, and then brings it back around to the light with Schatrax's rework of Daso & Pawas' "Det" and Sven U.K & Andomat 3000's workout "O Moresi." Like his recent Fabric mix, we're guessing this one is going to be a smooth ride, full of on-key and sure-handed mixes.
